This spring, we finally got the big water tank set up to water the field garden. We had to get a pump to fill it from the pond, and an adapter kit so the garden hose would fit on the drain. No more lugging a million pails of water up to my 'water wagon', (a rubber tired, steel wagon with three large pails in it), then pulling it up to where I needed it, then using a bilge pump to fill the watering cans for application. Watering is now a breeze! We are now heading into drought conditions, if this heat and humidity hold, which the weather liars say it will. The daily temperatures are over 30C with no rain in sight except for maybe a pop-up thunder storm. Yesterday, we also had a strong breeze which just sucked the moisture away. I found a wee toad in my mulched and protected sweet pepper patch this morning, so conditions there must be to his/her liking!
I go to nature to be soothed and healed, and to have my senses put in order.
